High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred Medical secretary/receptionist experience: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) American Heart Association: Required Essential Functions: Assists with patient care activities, as needed, under the guidance of the Charge Nurse or shift leader. Maintains work area(s) and equipment through cleaning, stocking and ordering of supplies. Takes and records vital signs, including pain scale according to established policies and procedures. Performs clerical duties, including chart management and maintaining unit supplies and forms. Manages front desk, assembling and maintaining medical charts. Maintains work area(s) and equipment through cleaning, stocking and ordering of supplies. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
