Conduct a variety of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging Prioritize patient comfort and safety during exams, providing clear and compassionate explanations for each procedure Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and uphold patient records in our electronic medical system Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices Education Requirements
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred Certifications Required
Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred Skills Needed
Strong technical expertise in sonographic imaging and patient positioning Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Able to work independently and as part of a diverse team Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient-centered care Benefits Overview
