Conduct thorough evaluations on patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric cohorts using standard assessments and clinical observations. Craft individualized treatment strategies tailored to meet both immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions that concentrate on communication, language proficiency, fluency, voice dynamics, and swallowing techniques. Work alongside multidisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, and family members to formulate seamless care plans. Provide education and resources to patients and families to encourage continual progress outside of therapy sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring a smooth care continuum throughout the recovery process. Keep precise and up-to-date documentation as required by federal, state, and organizational regulations. Pursue professional development through continuing education and collaboration with peers. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA. Certifications
Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment. Skills
