Diagnosing and addressing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physician colleagues or autonomously (per credentialing). Guiding patients and their families through preventive measures, wellness strategies, and chronic disease management. Prescribing medications and therapies according to established practice guidelines. Engaging in patient follow-up care and chronic disease management. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to guarantee comprehensive and holistic healthcare. Accurately documenting interactions and care within electronic medical records (EMR). Educational Foundation
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Mandatory Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Florida. National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or comparable specialty certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (with the ability to acquire these within 90 days). Valuable Skills to Enhance Your Practice
