Conduct thorough evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics through a mixture of standardized assessments and observational methods. Design tailored treatment plans that focus on both immediate and long-term goals addressing communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs. Deliver individualized speech therapy support targeting areas such as communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to develop inclusive care strategies. Provide educational resources and guidance to patients and families to facilitate progress outside of therapy sessions. Participate in inpatient assessments and therapy interventions as needed, maintaining seamless care throughout treatment journeys. Ensure meticulous and timely documentation that complies with all regulatory and organizational standards. Engage in continual learning to keep abreast of the latest field advancements and to foster peer collaboration. Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not already ASHA certified. Certifications
Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary within 30 days of employment. Skills and Attributes
