Our Emergency Department is designated and certified as a Primary Stroke Center. Along with our outstanding cardiac care services, our patients have shorter wait times than both the national average and WA State average (according to "medicare data. We have 22 ED beds and see an average of 80 patients per day.
Responsibilities include:
Quickly assess and prioritize care based on trauma for all patient populations Stabilize patients needing emergency care Work with an experienced, supportive team of emergency professionals including emergency physicians, other emergency-trained nurses, licensed radiologists, and certified laboratory technologists Demonstrate a passion for excellence in emergency medicine If you are committed to social justice, health equity, and prepared to deliver care in new, innovative ways, you belong with us. Current WA State RN license is required. Recent RN experience with acute care patients. CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work. Other certifications may be required for specialty areas. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing. Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements
