Description
Conduct comprehensive evaluations across a broad spectrum of demographics, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, utilizing both standardized assessments and observational insights. Design individualized treatment programs tailored to address both immediate and long-standing needs in communication, cognition, or swallowing. Deliver focused, one-on-one therapy sessions targeting language, fluency, swallowing, and voice disorders. Partner with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, nurses, caregivers, and families to forge integrated care plans. Educate patients and their families to empower continued progress beyond the therapy room. Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and therapeutic interventions to ensure seamless care throughout each patient's journey. Maintain meticulous documentation complying with state, federal, and organizational policies. Engage in ongoing professional development and peer collaboration to stay abreast of current advancements in the discipline. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Achieved or in process of completing a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA certified. Certifications
Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is to be obtained within 30 days of employment. Skills
