Position Responsibilities
Conduct assessments of patients in inpatient or outpatient settings and develop personalized treatment plans Execute physical therapy interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall function Work closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation specialists to enhance patient outcomes Teach patients and families about therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and home exercise routines Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with guidelines Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to guarantee cohesive care Educational Requirements
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution Necessary Certifications
State license as a Physical Therapist CPR certification is preferred Specialty certifications (e.g., in neurology or geriatrics) are an asset but not mandatory Essential Skills
