Performing detailed patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic assessments, and developing personalized care plans Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions in collaboration with physicians or autonomously (as permitted by your credentials) Providing education to patients and their families on preventive measures, wellness initiatives, and effective disease management strategies Prescribing medications and treatments in accordance with your practice scope Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, comprehensive care Accurately documenting patient interactions within electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications Required
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Mandatory Certifications
A valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent certification Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or a commitment to obtain within 90 days) Essential Skills
