Description
Perform comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing both standardized tests and observational assessments. Craft individualized treatment plans targeting immediate objectives while considering long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing requirements. Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions emphasizing language, communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to formulate integrated care strategies. Provide education to patients and families to reinforce therapeutic gains beyond the clinical setting. Assist in the delivery of speech therapy evaluations and interventions on an occasional inpatient basis, ensuring seamless care throughout the treatment continuum. Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards. Enhance knowledge and skills through ongoing education and teamwork with peers. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory within 30 days of hiring. Skills
