Facilitating surgical procedures by meticulously preparing and organizing the operating room to ensure a smooth process Upholding sterile fields and rigorously adhering to infection control standards Diligently handing instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants Expertly preparing and managing surgical equipment before, during, and after procedures Overseeing the inventory of supplies and ensuring preparedness for each operation Collaborating closely with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other surgical staff to guarantee seamless care Maintaining accurate surgical counts and thorough documentation Education Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program is mandatory A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is essential Certifications Needed:
A current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is required BLS certification (or the willingness to obtain it within 90 days of hire) Key Skills and Attributes:
