Job Responsibilities
Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's unique challenges and develop tailored therapy strategies to help them achieve their goals. Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and engagement in daily tasks. Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, SLPs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver all-encompassing patient care. Educate Patients and Their Families: Guide patients and caregivers through therapy techniques to foster ongoing recovery outside of the clinical environment. Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor clinical outcomes diligently and modify treatment protocols to ensure optimal patient engagement and success. Qualifications
Accredited degree in Occupational Therapy Continuous education and additional certifications are encouraged and supported Licenses
Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license Certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is required Skills
