Utilizing radiographic and CT protocols to produce high-resolution diagnostic images for physician analysis Working closely with radiologists and healthcare professionals to facilitate prompt and accurate diagnoses Positioning patients skillfully and adjusting equipment for optimal imaging results Prioritizing radiation safety for patients and coworkers at all times Keeping detailed records of imaging activities and performing routine checks on equipment Providing compassionate support to patients during their imaging journeys Fostering a safe, efficient, and organized imaging environment Education and Certification Requirements
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred Graduation from an accredited radiology program Certifications Required
ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain within the first 90 days of employment Essential Skills
Familiarity with diagnostic imaging procedures and safety regulations Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities with patients and clinical teams Adeptness in fast-paced settings with a nimble approach to changing circumstances Keen attention to detail and strong sense of accountability Comfort with PACS, RIS, and modern imaging technologies What Awaits You
