On-call responsibilities will include rotating after-hours call with a required Sunday rotation. Job Description The Cardiac Catheterization Technologist is responsible for conducting specialized examinations in cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular studies, and electrophysiology studies. This role includes leading and serving as a resource to medical and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care and procedure efficiency. ResponsibilitiesConduct specialized examinations in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology studies. Serve as a lead worker and resource to medical and clinical staff. Collaborate with intra-procedure teams to maintain patient safety. Assist with patient preparation and room readiness for procedures. Interpret physician orders and communicate necessary protocol adjustments. Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot specialized equipment. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction. Stay current with advancements in cardiovascular technology through continuous education. Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and accreditation requirements. Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMinimum of 1 year of experience in Special Procedures or Cath/EP cases. Current ARRT or RCIS certification. Current ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association. State of TX Medical Radiologic License.
