Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory tests across various fields, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established guidelines. Evaluate test outcomes for accuracy, troubleshoot any issues found, and maintain and calibrate lab instruments with care and precision. Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required. Thoroughly document all lab procedures, mentor new team members or students, and ensure adherence to quality standards in the lab. Keep a neat and secure work environment, observing all regulatory and accreditation standards. Education
A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable health degree, in addition to ASCP/AMT certification preparation. Certifications
ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within the first year of employment. Maintain current certification throughout your time with us. Skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships within healthcare teams. Capacity for independent decision-making and tackling problems in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
