Performing holistic patient evaluations, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies Diagnosing and addressing both acute and chronic health issues in collaboration with physicians or independently as per your credentials Providing education to patients and their families about preventive care, wellness strategies, and disease management Prescribing necessary medications and treatments in alignment with your practice scope Involved in chronic care management and patient follow-ups Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated, patient-centered care Accurately documenting patient information within electronic medical records (EMR) Educational Background
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Certification Requirements
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or relevant specialty certification Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or eligibility to achieve these within 90 days) Essential Skills
