Become a vital part of a Hospital team in Akron, OH as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will operate CT and radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic CT scans and radiographs under indirect supervision. You will evaluate images with Radiologists, perform additional imaging as requested, assist with invasive procedures as needed, and ensure accurate processing of patient records and procedure results in a timely manner. Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an AMA-approved or JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography or CT. Licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio. Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience required. 2+ years experience preferred and required by client. CT Registry preferred. Experience in Level I trauma and Stroke Center environments required. Epic electronic medical record experience within the last 12 months required. BLS/CPR certification required. Ability to perform IV contrast administration and related sterile techniques. Ability to lift and position patients and meet heavy physical demands (frequent lifting and patient transfers). Manual dexterity to operate and calibrate imaging equipment and apply restraining devices.
Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year radiology technology experience preferred when noted; client preference for CT Registry and additional modality training. Successful completion of additional radiology procedure training preferred.
Assignment Details Shift hours: 13:00-01:30. Must be able to work every other weekend. No on-call or holiday requirements. Block schedule accepted on weekends. Must be able to float to other facilities if required by the client. Interviews required. Candidates should list dates and times they are available. Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed.

You will collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and the care team to maintain imaging quality and patient safety. Your work will contribute to outcomes in trauma and stroke care environments. The Cuyahoga Valley National Park is about 15-25 minutes away and offers hiking trails, waterfalls, and scenic rail tours.
