Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual circumstances and devise specific therapy strategies to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ research-supported interventions to boost patients' motor capabilities, cognitive skills, and daily function Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, medical practitioners, and nursing staff to provide all-encompassing, holistic care Guide Patients and Families: Train patients and their families on supportive methods to ensure continued progress and independence at home Track Progress and Adjust Care: Monitor clinical progress and modify treatment plans as needed to keep patients fully engaged on their journey Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Continued education or post-graduate certifications encouraged and supported Licenses and Certifications
Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required Desired Skills
