Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
Assisting in surgical procedures through preparing and organizing the operating room Upholding sterile fields and adhering to stringent infection control protocols Handing instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants with precision Preparing and managing surgical equipment before, during, and after procedures Monitoring surgical supplies and ensuring readiness for each operation Collaborating effectively with nurses, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to provide seamless care Maintaining accurate surgical counts and essential documentation Education Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program A high school diploma or equivalent is required Certifications Needed:
Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is required BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire) Key Skills and Attributes:
