Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
Preparing and organizing the operating room to assist surgical procedures effectively. Ensuring sterile fields are maintained while following infection control protocols. Handing instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical teams as needed. Managing surgical equipment through all stages of the surgical procedures. Monitoring inventory levels, ensuring readiness for every operation. Collaborating seamlessly with nurses, anesthesiologists, and the entire surgical staff. Maintaining accurate surgical documentation and counts. Education Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program. A high school diploma or its equivalent is required. Certifications Needed:
Must hold a valid CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential. BLS certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Key Skills and Attributes:
Working knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures across diverse disciplines. Strong communication abilities and team spirit, especially in high-pressure situations.
