Job Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients spanning pediatric to geriatric demographics, utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methods. Create individualized treatment plans targeting both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Deliver targeted therapy interventions designed to enhance communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills on a one-on-one basis. Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop a unified approach to patient care. Provide valuable education to patients and their families to reinforce your therapy strategies outside the clinical environment. Assist occasionally with inpatient assessments and interventions to ensure an integrated continuum of care. Document patient information thoroughly to comply with all state, federal, and organizational regulations. Stay updated on the latest advancements in speech-language therapy through ongoing education and collaboration with peers. Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not already ASHA-certified. Licenses and Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment. Key Skills

Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teammates.
