Develop Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess each patient's individual needs and craft personalized therapy plans aimed at helping them reach their functional aspirations Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to elevate patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily activities Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for each individual Educate Patients and Families: Inform patients and their caregivers on effective therapy techniques to sustain progress beyond the clinic Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment strategies as needed, ensuring each patient's success Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Continuous education opportunities and post-graduate certifications are highly encouraged Licensure and Certifications
Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must Skills
