Employ radiographic and CT techniques to produce high-clarity diagnostic images for assessment by physicians Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure precise diagnostics Accurately position patients and fine-tune equipment settings to achieve optimal imaging Adhere to radiation safety protocols for patients and staff Maintain comprehensive records, from imaging logs to equipment upkeep Deliver empathetic patient care throughout the imaging process Foster a secure, organized, and efficient imaging environment Education Background
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is mandatory; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous Graduated from an accredited radiology program Essential Certifications
ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography) is required Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment Key Skills for Success
Strong understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety regulations Exceptional communication aptitude with patients and multidisciplinary teams Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt swiftly to changing priorities Keen attention to detail and a responsible approach to patient care Comfortable working with PACS, RIS, and advanced imaging software What's in Store for You
