Job Responsibilities
Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design personalized therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional aspirations. Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices aimed at improving patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily activities. Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to guarantee comprehensive and holistic care. Educate Patients and Support Systems: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapeutic approaches to maintain progress at home. Track Progress and Adapt Strategies: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on their healing path. Educational Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university Ongoing education or advanced certifications are encouraged and supported Licensure
Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory Required Skills
