Your Role and Responsibilities
Tailor Patient-Focused Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's unique needs and craft personalized therapy strategies to empower them in reaching their daily goals. Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to boost patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily activities. Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Partner closely with other healthcare professionals, including OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses, to provide well-rounded, comprehensive care. Provide Education to Patients and Families: Share vital knowledge with patients and caregivers about therapy techniques that promote progress at home. Track Progress and Adjust Accordingly: Monitor clinical progress, ensuring treatment plans remain aligned with patient goals while documenting outcomes meticulously. Required Education and Credentials
Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution. Ongoing professional development and additional certifications encouraged and facilitated. Licenses and Certifications
Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license. NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required. Your Skills
