Preparing and organizing the operating room for various surgical procedures Maintaining sterile environments and adhering rigorously to infection control protocols Handing instruments and supplies efficiently to surgeons and surgical assistants Managing surgical equipment duties before, during, and after procedures Monitoring supplies to ensure the operating room is consistently prepared for each operation Collaborating seamlessly with nursing staff, anesthesiologists, and surgical personnel Maintaining meticulous surgical counts and documentation Education Requirements:
Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent is required Certifications Needed:
Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is required BLS certification (or must be obtained within 90 days of hire) Essential Skills and Attributes:
