Preparing and organizing the operating room to facilitate surgical procedures Upholding sterile fields and following stringent infection control protocols Assisting surgeons and surgical assistants by passing instruments and supplies Managing surgical equipment effectively before, during, and after operations Monitoring and preparing supplies to ensure readiness for each surgery Teaming up with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical personnel for risk-free, seamless patient care Keeping accurate counts of surgical instruments and documentation Education Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory Certifications Needed:
Valid CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is essential BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment) Key Skills and Attributes:
