Create tailored treatment plans that cater to each individual's immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions with a focus on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, doctors, caretakers, and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Educate patients and their families to bolster progress and foster improvement beyond clinical sessions. Conduct occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions in speech therapy to maintain seamless care throughout the recovery process. Ensure precise and timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and organizational standards. Engage in continuous learning through advancement opportunities and peer interactions. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successfully complete a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hiring. Skills
