You'll be part of a warm, collaborative, and cohesive team that values support, communication, and shared success. Comprehensive onboarding includes several weeks of hands-on training and shadowing with a mentor to ensure you feel confident in your role. Key responsibilities include:
Facilitate genetic testing processes Communicate with referring providers and patient families Schedule appointments and coordinate care activities Maintain and update databases and patient records Request and manage medical records Assist with billing investigations and prior authorizations Support administrative tasks such as faxing, scanning, and mailing Partner with genetic counselors on a variety of daily operations
Minimum qualifications include:
High School Diploma or equivalent (required) 0–3 years of relevant experience
Preferred qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification Familiarity with medical terminology Exposure to clinical trials or data management principles (not required) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
