Über
Perform diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, including left and right heart catheterization. Assist with the placement and removal of IABP and Impella, and conduct pulmonary artery line monitoring. Administer procedural sedation and monitor patient recovery. Utilize various diagnostic tools and techniques such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound during procedures. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment. Provide emergency care as needed, including the administration of antiarrhythmics and IV vasopressors. Document procedures and patient care accurately in the electronic health record.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting. Current certifications in ACLS and BLS. Experience with diagnostic catheterizations and percutaneous coronary interventions. Familiarity with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring and activated clotting time (ACT) measurement.
