Experienced Veterinary Assistant VCA Bayonet Point Animal Hospital is hiring a full time Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our General Practice team! We are a 2-doctor full service veterinary hospital offering primary care, illness care, surgery and dentistry located in Port Richey, FL. Candidates must be positive and motivated. The hospital team meets frequently, and your ideas and suggestions are encouraged to help us continue to grow. Compensation: $16 - $17.00 / hr is based on skill set, and experience. Schedule: Full time. 8am - 6pm, rotating weekends. What You'll Do Whether you are a credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT) or technician in training, we want you to use the knowledge that you've invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited Veterinary Assistant Duties Include
Physical examinations, patient assessment, and recovery Intubation, anesthesia and monitoring IV fluid administration and CRI calculations Hands Free Radiology and diagnostic imaging Client communications and discharge
