Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, from abdominal and OB/GYN to vascular and small parts imaging Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all diagnostic procedures, explaining each phase with kindness and clarity Work closely with radiologists and referring doctors to achieve high-quality imaging results Efficiently operate and maintain imaging devices and report any technical issues immediately Document procedures accurately and manage patient records within the electronic medical record system Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound applications and best practices Educational Background
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or an allied discipline Preference for applicants who have graduated from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program Required Certifications
Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent accreditation BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred Desired Skills
Proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and adept patient positioning Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to function both independently and as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment Benefits Summary
