Outpatient Physical Therapist This is a 13-week contract position. 5x8.0 - 803910 The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with the patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes directing discipline-specific therapy services and ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective return to community activities. Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients. Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals aimed at progressing patients towards discharge. Maintain clear, concise, accurate, and timely medical record documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines. Participate in a student program as assigned, providing supervision and evaluation for student progress. Create an individualized professional development plan and pursue continuous professional growth through education and self-study. Adhere to state practice acts, maintain professional licensure in good standing, and complete all mandated continuing education requirements. Engage in organizational performance improvement initiatives and follow through with action plans to improve service delivery.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school. Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience. Current CPR certification. Active and applicable state licensure in good standing.
