Business Engagement Expectation The Architect is not purely an internal systems builder. This individual is expected to actively engage with the business: identifying new AI use cases and opportunities across the enterprise, partnering with functional stakeholders to uncover where agentic systems, orchestration, or AI-enabled workflows can drive measurable value, and contributing directly to the AI opportunity roadmap. This role is one of two foundational pillars of FAM's emerging modern infrastructure and technology leadership team. As the practice scales, this individual is expected to grow into a senior technology leadership position. Core Mission Build, architect, and operationalize scalable AI systems and integrations across enterprise platforms while actively identifying new opportunities to apply AI across the business, educating internal stakeholders on AI capability, and maturing the technical engineering capability of the DWI team. Key Focus Areas AI orchestration systems and agentic AI workflows MCP-based architectures and enterprise integrations LLM application development using Anthropic Claude and complementary platforms Context-aware AI execution and human-in-the-loop systems AI workflow governance and cross-platform integrations Business-facing AI opportunity identification and roadmap contribution Internal AI education, advocacy, and knowledge sharing Mentoring and technical leadership development within the team Technical Requirements Area Requirements Languages Python, TypeScript, React Data / APIs PostgreSQL, REST, webhooks, API architecture Cloud Cloud-native architecture, Azure preferred AI Platforms Anthropic Claude (required), OpenAI, Gemini ecosystems AI Techniques RAG / GraphRAG, AI workflow orchestration, agentic systems Enterprise Systems ERP, HRIS, PLM, supply chain, workflow automation
Leadership & Education Expectations Mentor junior developers and analysts; establish engineering best practices Operate as a player-coach with clear management track potential Partner with business stakeholders to identify and develop new AI opportunities Serve as an internal educator and advocate for Claude and AI-native thinking Contribute to roadmap development and AI strategy alongside the Director Help build the infrastructure and technology leadership foundation for the practice COMPENSATION At FAM Brands, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation. Salary ranges for positions are based on job level, location, and market data. We offer competitive benefits and are dedicated to equal pay for equal work. Specific salary offers depend on each candidate's qualifications and experience. FAM Brands also offers all employees participation in our annual bonus program (Non-Sales) or commission program (Sales).
