Branch Sales Manager – Job Overview TruGreen is seeking an experienced Branch Sales Manager to lead sales activities within assigned branches, drive revenue growth, and uphold company commitments. Responsibilities Strategic Sales Planning – develop comprehensive sales plans and forecasts, ensuring sales objectives are met within budget. Marketing Program Execution – collaborate on door‑to‑door, direct mail, inside and outside marketing to grow service portfolio. Lead Generation – compile potential customer lists from various sources and support closing of sales. Customer Satisfaction – address complaints, analyze cancellations, and proactively retain customers. Training & Development – conduct ongoing training on customer service, selling techniques, and safety procedures. Workflow & Scheduling – establish work procedures, create schedules, and monitor sales performance of team members. Performance Management – set standards, monitor outcomes, and implement corrective strategies. Staffing & HR Management – recruit, interview, hire 10+ peak reps, evaluate performance, recommend salaries, enforce discipline per policy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or 2–3 years of related experience in the lawn/horticulture/agronomic field. Proven experience in sales, with strong leadership and team‑management skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and strategic thinking abilities. Ability to calculate discounts, commissions, and volumes. Proficient with sales analytics and CRM tools. Travel to all door‑to‑door routes within the market; must be physically located in the United States. Key Skills & Abilities Knowledge of TruGreen products and services. Understanding of customer and market dynamics. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and present information. Attention to detail, organizational, adaptability, and flexibility. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Physical Demands & Working Conditions Regular requirements: sit, stand, walk, use hands, speak, hear, use vision. Occasional requirements: lift/move up to 25 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl. Work environment: low to moderate noise, minimal adverse conditions. Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $52,234.00 – $87,056.00 . Most candidates start in the lower half of the range. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance and company‑matching 401(k) plan.
