We are looking to hire a licensed heavy duty mechanic/technician. Technicians are supported from management who have 30+ years experience in the industry. Recognized as a "go-to" in our field, we pass our knowledge on repair and maintenance to our team members helping team to excel in their careers.
*Responsibilities:*
* Diagnose mechanical problems
* Work with shop management to maintain schedules and priorities
* Follow procedures and guidelines as established by Bear Creek Maintenance
* Complete all documentation associated with mechanical repairs of equipment
* Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
* Attend company training programs as required
* Maintain a positive and professional relationship with other mechanics, drivers, and operational staff
* Have basic tool requirements as established by Bear Creek Maintenance
*Qualifications:*
* Fluent in written and spoken English
* Clean Driver’s Abstract
* Experience working on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
* Analytical and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to read, operate and comprehend computer diagnostics
* Able to use online portal for timesheets, filling work orders, etc.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Must be able to follow instructions
* Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety
* Additional Safety Tickets would be an asset
* CVIP Certification would be an asset
