To perform successfully in a virtual environment, the remote Customer Service Representative must be comfortable
with technology and can easily understand and learn the technical requirements of the position.
Duties/Responsibilities
Provide exceptional patient service in the name of the clientContact patients via telephone to collect payment on medical billsCommunicates accurate information to patients in a clear, concise and professional mannerReview patient accounts and documents patients' interaction and feedbackNegotiates appropriate and reasonable payments with customersSets up patient payments via check, electronic transfer or credit cardResponsible for understanding and complying with all policies and proceduresMeets or exceeds established goalsWorks closely with team leads, management and client to resolve disputes and ensure patient satisfactionAll other duties as assigned by management
Required Skills/Knowledge
Customer/Client Focus Communication Proficiency Confidentiality/Integrity Teamwork Orientation Basic computer skills necessary
Education/Experience
Customer service experience preferredPrior medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle experience strongly preferredHigh school diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate requiredOne to two years of college preferred
