This role supports the end-to-end Opportunity Management process. The successful candidate will apply commercial and technical expertise to develop timely and accurate proposals, while supporting Commercial Operations initiatives focused on continuous process improvement.
Job Responsibilities
Support the Sales Force in opportunity development and customer assessmentPrepare commercial proposals for multiple regions, ensuring quality, completeness, and timely responsivenessParticipate in multi-regional projects, contributing to competitive and winning bid packagesSupport Terms and Conditions reviews and negotiations using commercial and legal knowledgeDrive achievement of sales and margin growth objectivesMake pricing strategy decisions to support winning bidsDefine pricing and margin strategies by leveraging historical proposals and market conditionsCollaborate with the cross functional stakeholders to identify optimal solutions aligned with customer requirementsProvide technical support to the Sales team by identifying suitable products, developing configurations, and preparing proposals (including sales bids)Provide technical support to customers (end users and drilling contractors), including occasional customer visits with the local Sales teamLead risk assessment processes by coordinating bid teams and functions (Legal, Finance, Manufacturing, Technical Assistance, Sales, Sourcing) during proposal preparation and follow upRetrieve and analyze marketing data and sales results to identify trends and support Product Managers in developing growth strategiesSupport the handover to the Order managementMonitor, update, and report on assigned projectsCollect and analyze historical quotation and proposal data; develop and maintain metrics using statistical tools to inform business activity and drive commercial process improvements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Business discipline from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of relevant experience)Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical / commercial role or in operations role
