Workdays: Mon-Fri Introduction We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Assembler to join our team for a 6-month contract. This role involves assembling mechanical components and sub-assemblies, with a focus on precision and quality. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical assembly and a strong attention to detail. Required Skills & Qualifications Production experience with vocational experience in mechanical assembly Ability to work from established drawings and experience in soldering, wire-wrapping, and cable harnessing Ability to use hand tools and testing equipment Ability to set up test devices using hand tools or automatic test methods Good communication (written and verbal) and soft skills Prior work experience in the industry Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2 Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Teams Experience in operations HS Diploma or equivalent Day-to-Day Responsibilities Perform a variety of operations to assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and sheet metal enclosures Work with assembly prints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to assemble drawers, chassis, enclosures, and racks Perform repair work as necessary Perform routine go/no-go tests of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies Set up test devices using hand tools or automatic test methods Document test results and maintain logs and records denoting malfunctions Company Benefits & Culture Competitive salary and benefits package Collaborative and inclusive work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
