Experienced Veterinary Technician Wanted Animal and Bird Medical Center is hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician. Role: Veterinary Technician. Status: Full-time. Salary: Negotiable and based on experience. Animal and Bird Medical Center in Palm Harbor is searching for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate, collaborative team. What You'll Do
Assist veterinarians with patient exams, treatments, and procedures Obtain patient histories and collect diagnostic samples Prepare laboratory samples and assist with in-house testing Fill prescriptions and educate clients on medications and treatment plans Perform radiographs and support diagnostic procedures Place IV catheters and prepare patients for surgery Monitor anesthesia and surgical patients Perform dental cleanings and patient care procedures Answer phones and assist with appointment scheduling as needed Provide daily husbandry and nursing care for hospitalized patients
What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring
Previous experience working in a veterinary setting is required Strong technical and patient care skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Positive, dependable, and team-focused attitude Attention to detail and willingness to continue learning Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment Experience with avian and exotic medicine is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate
