Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week
Requirements:
1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist LTC or Rehabilitation experience required Texas State License required CCC certified Speech-Language Pathologist required 3 years of experience holding active CCS preferred
Roles & Responsibilities:
Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. Develop appropriate plans of care that follow regulatory and clinical practice standards. Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions. Assess patient progress and adjust treatments according to evaluations and outcomes. Provide consultation and counseling to patients and their families regarding speech disorders. Communicate effectively with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans.
Compliance / Notes:
Adhere to ASHA and state-required practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethics during professional practice. Participation in required meetings and training sessions is expected.
