Cardiology Physician We are seeking a highly qualified Board-Certified Cardiologist to join our outpatient practice and provide comprehensive cardiac care. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, with the ability to read cardiac imaging studies (including Nuclear Stress tests, preferred but not required). The physician will work in a solo practice setting, primarily covering outpatient clinics, supervising stress tests, and participating in hospital consults across two facilities.
Outpatient clinic: approximately 3 days per week, providing patient care for diverse cardiology cases. Supervising stress tests: approximately 1 day per week. On-call duties: 4 pm – 8 am as needed to fill schedule gaps. Reading nuclear stress tests (support role, not mandatory to read NUCs). Participating in hospital consult rotations on an ad hoc basis. Flexibility to float between Massena Hospital and Canton Potsdam Hospital.
Shift: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM 4 days per week, 10-hour days Duration: 6-9 months, starting early August 2026, with an ASAP start preferred.
NY State medical license in hand. Epic experience. AHA or RQI certification. Must be Board Certified in Cardiology. Up-to-date work history with no gaps exceeding 30 days. Physician statement regarding malpractice history if applicable.
