Duties & Responsibilities
Plan maintenance for Synmed machine. Plan/distribute/monitor daily task execution and cell metrics. Manage/monitor overall automation team metrics by section. Manage and perform cassette stocking/replenishment. Maintain Omnicell machine for idiosyncrasies that occur daily. Order/track supplies and future requirements. Pull correct stock bottles from inventory and stage prescriptions for packaging. Accurately package prescriptions in blister cards based on the directions for use, either by hand or using packaging machines. Pull the correct pre-packed blister card and affix prescription labels. Sort and organize completed prescriptions. Perform quality assurance checks as directed. Liaison with the procurement team to handle NDC changes, "out of stocks", and back-order medications. Oversees daily task accomplishment by the team and provides feedback. Identifies issues as they arise that affect production goals and deadlines. Facilitates team member time management and task assignments based on requirements. Is the first point of contact in daily interactions with team members providing feedback related to work, schedule, and performance. Interfaces with the Production Manager for daily goals, metric development, and team-related issues. Strategizes manpower requirements based on daily/weekly/cycle production targets.
Requirements Required Skills & Abilities
Must possess an active TX State Board of Pharmacy Technician License. Ability to complete projects promptly. Ability to work with little oversight and/or guidance. 1+ year experience in a pharmacy environment is preferred.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times and traverse close quarters quickly. Must be able to stand/be on feet for the duration of an eight (8) hour shift.
