The Sales Operations Associate will support the Sales Planning Team by managing day-to-day sales operations through accurate deal management, system maintenance, and administrative support. Reporting to the Director of Sales Planning, the role will be responsible for executing core operational tasks across products and channels, including deal entry and review, invoicing, and item/customer setup.
This position will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.
Job Description
Full lifecycle management of promotional plans in our trade promotion management system (TPM)
Regular status and activity calls with Sales Account Executives
Promotional plan entry, rework, and edits
Validate volume forecast adjustments
Pricing discrepancies
Deduction and invoice resolution
Invoice and check request processing
GS1 and item setup management across multiple platforms (1 World Sync, IX1/Spins, GS1 Canada)
Promotional activity reporting and analysis
Other general sales requests received by field Sales Managers
Maintain organized archive of all work and applicable supporting documentation in shared drives and websites
TPM system troubleshooting and data maintenance
Oversee promotional spending activity by working with internal and external parties
Identify tactical sales administration implications for changing business conditions and rapidly execute solutions
Ad hoc data analysis as required
Attend 1 Sales Meeting (National Sales Conference). Minimal overnight travel required
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in sales operations or account management preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, data cleansing; Power Query optional)
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
Ability to cultivate critical relationships and perform in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
A highly detailed individual with a critical eye for accuracy
Experience with clear verbal and written communication to efficiently share information
An inquisitive problem solver and creative thinker who is comfortable utilizing analytical and quantitative skills
A collaborative individual that feels comfortable working with a team but has the ability to work independently with strong time management and organization skills
Experience with TPM systems, Demantra a plus
Pay Range: $71,000.00 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
