Location: Parsons, KS About The Position The Customer Service Representative-I position is responsible for front desk duties supporting the inside sales team, customer inquiries, visitors to the building, and cross coordination with various departments to support sales. Deliverables & Responsibilities
Receive and enter purchase orders for burner orders into Syteline Coordinate with manufacturing to schedule burners and track production schedule Send order verifications and acknowledgements to customers Ensure documentation for burner orders is entered and filed appropriately Create and send burner submittals to customers Greet and welcome customers, guests, and suppliers as soon as they arrive at the office and direct them to the appropriate person or destination Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges, PPE, issue appropriate visitor H&S instructions) Maintain the welcome screen at the front desk Coordinate with different internal departments as needed. Provide customer service and respond to general inquiries as required Ability to multi-task effectively in demanding situations. Coordinate office activities and ensure that they comply with company policies. Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls.
To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
High school education or GED 1-2 years' experience in an office environment Strong problem solving and analytical skills as well as math proficiency. Ability to work well independently and as a team player while meeting the needs of internal and external customers. Strong multitasking capability and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment Time management skills are critical for scheduling, meeting customer needs, and meeting deadlines. Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, SharePoint, electronic filing Other duties as assigned
