Overview Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team! $10.00 to $14.00 per hour We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process! Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $5.93 per hour ON TOP OF YOUR HOURLY RATE. Most stores open at 9AM and close at 6PM; many stores are closed on Sundays. Earned Wage Access program is available to all employees on the second day of employment. Employees have access to withdraw up to 50% of the wages earned up to seven times in a payroll cycle. The ability to earn unlimited commission above your hourly base rate. VACATION: One week of paid vacation after six months of active, full-time service. Additional vacation after one year of active employment and ongoing anniversaries; 120 hours after five years. (PTO/Vacation grant adjusted per state/local requirements). SICK/PERSONAL: 8 hours after 6 months; 16 hours each anniversary thereafter (years 2-5); 24 hours after five years. Access to the FirstCash Pet Insurance program. Position Summary We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. A Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The associates will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and much more. The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage, PLUS employees earn commission based on productivity. The successful Pawnbroker's / Retail Sales Associate's pay is based on factors such as location, qualifications, and experience. Responsibilities ( This is a representative list of duties and is not all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned as needed. ) Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions. Performs non-management open/close procedures. Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays. Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements. Handles all cash and negotiable items per established policies and regulatory requirements. Answers incoming calls per company standards. Explains the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect and using communication tools. Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience. Completes assigned training successfully. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be willing and able to stand for extended periods and perform duties that may include standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified. May be asked to assist customers on exterior areas or retrieve products stored in exterior storage. Minimum Age: 18 years old High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently. Cash handling experience is preferred. Should be able to work in multiple locations as needed. Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays. Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply. Commission Plan Information The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance.
