Job Description: Are you a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or an experienced Veterinary Technician who enjoys both surgery and appointments? If you value hands-on medicine, teamwork, and working in a clinic where your experience actually matters, Colonial Animal Hospital is looking to add a skilled, compassionate technician to our team. We are a privately owned hospital with a close-knit, supportive culture. No corporate management. No burnout factory energy. Our schedule is intentionally structured with surgery in the mornings and appointments in the afternoons, giving you variety, strong skill development, and meaningful patient and client interaction every day. What Youll Do
Assist veterinarians with surgery, including spays, neuters, dentals, and soft tissue procedures
Monitor anesthesia and oversee safe, smooth recoveries Perform blood draws, catheter placement, and in-house laboratory testing Support appointments with patient care, treatments, and client education Deliver consistent, high-quality nursing care throughout the day Help maintain efficient, organized treatment and surgical areas What Were Looking For
Active LVT license or a minimum of 5 years of veterinary technician experience
Strong confidence with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance Comfort and efficiency working in both surgery and appointment settings A compassionate, detail-oriented, team-oriented mindset Ability to thrive in a busy, supportive clinical environment Pay and Benefits
