Work Week: Primarily a 4-day work week. Clinic/OR Split: Scheduled time is allocated for both the Operating Room (OR) and clinic settings to ensure a good work-life balance. Call Rotation: Shared weekend call rotation.
Key Procedures The successful candidate will perform and manage a full spectrum of advanced urological procedures, including:
Minimally invasive surgeries (such as robotic prostatectomy and partial nephrectomy). ESWL (Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy), urological reconstruction, and vasectomy reversals. Diagnostic and treatment services like cystoscopies, testosterone pellet insertion, ultrasound-guided biopsies, and complex urodynamics.
Required Qualifications
Licensure: Active, unrestricted Alabama medical license (MD/DO). Certification: DEA certification. Board Status: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology. Board-Certified required for candidates >5 years post-residency. Board-Eligible considered if within 15 years post-residency.
