Position Summary
Management position responsible for the overall functioning of the Dispensary. Ensures the store is running as efficiently and profitably as possible, looking for areas to create growth. This position is integral for the operation of the store, making certain that customers and employees are always attended to.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Look for and develop cost-saving measures and increased productivityTraining of all new employeesMonitoring the sales floor for staffing, customer needs, service, atmosphere, and securityCreating schedulesOverseeing and managing product inventoryMaintaining current knowledge of all state and local laws and regulations for cannabis sales ensuring the dispensary's compliance with local and state regulationsManaging cash handling procedures and record keeping ensuring the accuracy of all transactions, cash, and records.Coordinate store events with the Marketing Department.Analyzing store performance making recommendations to improve sales performanceOrdering of products for salesManaging, training, and inspiring retail staff to deliver the highest level of customer serviceMonitoring the sales floor to ensure specials are sold appropriatelyCleaning out tags and products in Greenbits/METRCInventory ManagementInterview, check references, and recommend top candidate (s), coordinate the hiring processStay Knowledgeable regarding timekeeping rules and approve timecardsKeeping current with Nuvue policy and procedures and being a resource for employeesOpening/closing of store/flexible schedule/some weekends.
Qualifications
Must possess a current Colorado MED BadgePrefer a Minimum of 4 years of retail experience.Prefer a Minimum of 3 years of budtending experience.
Working Conditions
Primarily in a retail environment. Must be able to stand for long periods, lift 20 lbs., see, and read, work with numbers, and make sales with the Point of Service application. Weekend and evening work is expected.
