Job Summary:
As a Cook, you will be preparing food to our high-quality standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace. You will cook food to order by following provided recipes and uphold the Buona standard.
Responsibilities:
Learn the following positions: Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & PrepFollow recipes and food preparation processes properly such as cooking, seasoning, grilling, chopping, dicing, cutting and slicingMaintain appropriate portion control and monitoring food levels on the linePrepare quality food that meets our Buona standardsEnsure all food is being made properly before being handed out to guestsRestock food lineComply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safetyBe speedy and accurate in fulfilling ordersHandle raw and finished waste according to established proceduresAct with a sense of urgency with all guests, whether dine-in, takeout, or drive-thruWashing cookware and utensils and cleaning equipment as assignedCleaning and sanitizing as neededOther duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent communication and positive attitudeMust be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Must obtain Food Handler certificateMust work to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.Ability to stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift up to 25lbs
